Renew George Town
Renew George Town is focused on creating a vibrant and exciting streetscape along the Macquarie Street precinct of George Town. This project is based on community voices collected and focused on enhancing community pride in George Town.
There are multiple projects underway along Macquarie Street and more information will be coming soon on the Parklet Pilot Project and the Macquarie Street Entry Statement.
PARKLET PILOT PROJECT
Future Impact Group are seeking expressions of interest from businesses to participate in the Renew George Town Parklet Pilot Project, which involves the installation of a parklet to complement and provide additional dining and seating space to their premises.
