About the Role and You

This is an exciting opportunity for you to both drive outcomes of the Future Impact Group whilst also establishing the Future Impact Group as a stand-alone self-sustaining entity.

If you are an experienced leader who loves to collaborate to achieve great community outcomes then this is the role you are looking for.  As the Executive Director you will lead the transition of Future Impact Group to an incorporated body.  Develop and implement its sustainability strategy including securing, administering and delivering funding agreements. Continue to build collaborators, partners and stakeholders and drive systems change in line with Collective Impact methodology.  All while managing a small team of dynamic leaders who are delivering exciting community projects.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Possess a thorough understanding and demonstrable application of Collective Impact methodology (or alternate social change approaches). 
  • Be a visible leader who empowers community members and is committed to social justice and equality.
  • Be a leader who has a track record of delivering vision and strategy in a complex community based environment.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, to support and enable members of the Future Impact Group to achieve the goals of the people of the George Town Municipality.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement and practice change across government, non-profits, philanthropists, and citizens.
