The Future Impact Group started in 2016 and is focused on: Working together to make a difference, Community owned and driven initiatives based on common priorities, building on existing strengths and initiatives to make the most of resources, making a long term commitment, being inclusive and encouraging everyone in the community to contribute.
FIG looks at adding value to the whole of the George Town Municipality using a collective impact model to drive systems change. We connect the dots based on community voices. Through the FIG members, committees and projects, we hope to listen and action the aspirations of the George Town community to grow community pride, sustainable employment, learning and education, inclusivity and wellness for all.
