NEW Building Act and Regulations will commence on the 1st January 2017

If you wish to make an application for building works under the current act and regulations you will need to do so as soon as possible to allow enough time for an assessment to be conducted. If an application is not made to Council and a Certificate of Likely Compliance is not issued before 23^rd December 2016 your application will need to be considered under the new regulations in 2017.
