Bridge Widening on Industry Road

This project has been awarded to contractor Andrew Walers Construction.  The works have been scheduled to commence from Monday the 9th December which will involve the widening of the pavement on the approaches and between the bridges.  During the construction contractors will be facilitating the upgrade under stop and go traffic light controls and reduced speed limits. 

We anticipate the road widening will be completed by Christmas and the bridge widening will commence in the New Year.  We ask that all motorists adher to the changes in traffic conditions over this period. It is interesting to note that there has been significant traffic growth on Industry Road over the past 9 years from 120 to 650 per day.
