Council Roadshow

Council's Mayor Greg Kieser, General Manager Shane Power, Officer Louise Dickenson and Managers Rex Cassidy, David RIchardson and Brent Daire went on a roadshow this week throughout the outer lying areas of our beautiful municipality. Community discussions were held in Beechford; Lulworth; Weymouth; Bellingham and Hillwood. The purpose of the roadtrip was to inform our communities of:
•Council business (inc asset management)
•Budget processes
•Long term financial sustainability
•Council Strategy and Annual Plan
•Key consultations
•Input into 2020/2021 budget process
and to to listen to our community
Council would like to thank all those residents who gave their time to come and share their voice and opinions with the Mayor, staff and their community.
General Manager Shane Power said "It was a pleasure to meet and inform the groups about Council’s services, strategic plan, budget processes and objectives to the groups and of course don’t forget about the World Café"
For those of you who missed the opportuity to attend the roadshow we would like to inform you that we will be conducting another in 2020.
