George Town Council First to Introduce Covid 19 - Financial Hardship Policy

Council recognises that some ratepayers may experience significant financial hardship during and as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Council has adopted the Covid-19 Financial Hardship Policy to provide such assistance and will be assessed as per the criteria outlined in the policy.
Council would also like to announce that the fourth instalment due date has been extended to all rate payers until the 30th April 2020 to assist with the changing climate.
