Covid 19 Update - Municipal Playground Closures

As of today, Council will be closing public playgrounds as a control measure to slow the spread of COVID-19. We have made this decision following the Prime Ministers announcement yesterday on closure of indoor and outdoor play centres, and the limitations we have on enforcing social distancing and appropriate hygiene practices.
While there will be no physical barriers, playgrounds will be signed advising of closure and ask for parental guidance to help in administering these closures.
