We invite everyone to view the revised Regent Square design

Council would like to thank the community for their participation in the Regent Square Master Plan community consultation held in August 2019.  Council were delighted with the level of participation and feedback received from a broad section of our community.  The feedback has been collated and presented to Councillors, and Lange Design was engaged to develop a revised design that reflects the needs, wants and aspirations of the whole community. 

Council would like to thank the Regent Square Master Plan Reference Group for their participation in this project over the past few years. Their input has been instrumental in the development of the foundation of the master plan on which the community has been able to build their vision for the future design of Regent Square.

Council would also like to thank Auntie Patsy Cameron for her time and consultation in relation to the interpretation of the cultural piece that has been designed in recognition of the traditional owners of the land.

The revised design will be exhibited in Regent Square on Tuesday the 11^th February between 3pm and 6pm in a marquee located next to Memorial Hall.  Both the designer and Council Officers will be on hand to discuss and answer any questions from the community regarding the design.  As an incentive to our youth, we will be offering free soft serve ice creams to the first 200 people who come to view the revised design with Mr Whippy located beside the marquee.
