Covid 19 Business Grants Round 2 Now Open

George Town Council is pleased to announce Round 2 of the Covid 19 Community Care and Recovery Business Grants Program is now open.

Again this series of grants is in partnership with Bell Bay Aluminium, an amount of $30,000 has been allocated to support eligible businesses or new business initiatives in the George Town Municipality, for the purpose of:

Business Development & Stimulus:(one-off grants of $10,000 from a pool of $30,000)

• New business initiatives or start ups
• Infrastructure investment (to increase productivity, generating employment, or supports the community)
• Retraining, upskilling and the development of employment opportunities
• Website Development – (tourism and hospitality focused)
