Macrocarpa Tree Removal

Council would like to advise that on the 22nd January we will embark on the removal of a macrocarpa pine tree in Goulburn Street.  Unfortunately the tree is infected with cypress canker disease which is highly contagious amongst trees and at this point in time this particular tree is beyond treatment.  The remaining macrocarpa pine trees located in Goulburn Street will have any infected branches removed as a high priority to mitigate against the spread of the disease.
