Memorial Hall to Receive a New Roof

Council is pleased to announce that on Friday 25th of June 2021 the Memorial Hall will undergo reroofing.

Our contractors have advised that due to the size of the roofing iron (21m lengths) they will need to be craned into position. An extra long truck has been deployed for the deliver. Unfortunately with the current works in Regent Square and the carpark adjacent to Macquarie Street the contractors will need to facilitate this job from the front of the building.  There will be some disruption to street traffic and pedestrians will be required to avoid the area or adher to the safety protocol under taken by the contractors.
