Message to Residents - Woolworths Carpark

Council would like to inform residents that the contractors contracted by Woolworths who are building the new carpark  have advised Council of the following changes regarding pedestrian access:

• Access to Dicky Leslie's laneway is closed from the Bathurst Street end until next Thursday 11th March 2021
• Access to Dicky Leslie's laneway is available from Anne Street end
• Closure is due to the construction of new kerb and footpath as per the approved design plans
• Pedestrian access will be denied
• The contractors advised that they have undertaken verbal consultation with the affected shop owners before undertaking these closures and are working with nearby properties owners to reduce inconveniences
