Save the Date - Get Your Mountain Bikes Ready

We are excited to invite the residents of the George Town municipality to be the first riders of the what Council is anticipating to be some of the best mountain bike trails in Tasmania. These rails have been under development with developer World Trails with the project  on track to complete in the later part of this year.  In the meantime we thought it would be a great idea to let our community have a sneak peak and a ride of 8km of completed mountain bike trails at Mt George on Saturday the 29th May 2021 from 10am to 3pm.

We have arranged Rideo to come to the trail head carpark to do some 30 minute tips, tricks and safety sessions for beginners over the course of the day.  Bookings are essential to participate.  There will be food and drinks on sale at the trail head.  There will be no parking at the trail head but there is a  designated drop off & pick up zone and a FREE shuttle service will be running every 30 minutes from the "Old RSL carpark" in Main Street.
