2023/2024 Annual Plan

George Town Council officially adopted its 2023/2024 Annual Plan at the 22nd of August Ordinary Council Meeting.
The Annual Plan aims to provide a detailed description of how we will invest in services and facilities that will benefit the municipality and illustrates our key actions that align with the 2020-2030 Strategic Plan.
Some budget highlights include the upgrade of the intersections on Dalrymple Road, the commencement of the Aquatic Health & Wellbeing Centre, township character plans for coastal/rural areas, conduct a heritage study, a lawn Cemetery extension, repairs to Mt George Semaphore, Wild Tamar’s commencement of rock climbing facilities and more.
