Australia Day Awards Nominations 2024

 

Nominations for the 2024 Australia Day Awards are now open.

If you know of someone who deserves recognition for the contributions they make to our community or sports or an outstanding event that has been delivered by a not-for-profit organisation to the community, then please ensure you nominate them today for the Australia Day Awards.

The Australia Awards are to recognise the selfless contribution and service to the community, in the George Town municipal area.

We are looking for nominations in the following categories:

• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year
• Community Event of the Year
• Sportsperson of the Year - NEW
• Young Sportsperson of the Year - NEW

Nominations close Sunday 10th of December 2023.
