George Town Council is calling on all local artists, artisans and craftspeople to help create an exciting new Arts and Artisans Guild in George Town. We are holding a series of workshops in early 2023. These workshops are exclusively for practicing local artists, artisans and craftspeople. 

WORKSHOP ONE

For all local artists, artisans and craftspeople.
We will explain everything you need to know about the Project and take your questions.

WORKSHOP TWO

How to become an Arts and Artisans Guild member, including role and responsibilities.
This Workshop is only open to those who participated in Workshop one. It will include externally facilitated group discussions and interactive exercises.

  • Priority actions
  • How to make Expressions of Interest
  • How to ensure we achieve the governance requirements
  • How we will manage procedures and roles
  • What support and training might be needed by participants
  • How to elect a governing committee to run the incorporated collective
