George Town Bus Services

Have your say on proposed minor changes to George Town bus services until Friday, 15 September 2023.

The Tasmanian Government is funding new bus stops in George Town, which will be completed in early 2024. The new stops will be more accessible and comfortable.

• The new stop opposite 22 Anne St will have a shelter, be closer to toilets, and be around 400m away from 21 Elizabeth St, through the park.
• The new stop at 48 Goulburn St will be around 10m from 52 Goulburn St.

When the new stops are ready, we propose to slightly change bus routes to access them, and close stops at 21 Elizabeth St and 52 Goulburn St.
This change would affect Kinetic public and school bus services, but not Buses R Us school bus services.
