George Town Cemetery Beautification Works July 2023

Commencing on Monday the 24th of July, Council will replace the unhealthy roses with new roses in the Rotary Rose Garden at the George Town Cemetery. The new roses have been generously donated by George Town Rotary Club.

We kindly ask that all trinkets and personal items be removed from the rose garden by Monday, 24th of July. Alternatively, George Town Council will remove, securely store, and replace all trinkets and personal items in the exact location once the new roses are planted. We understand that the cemetery is a very significant place, and all items will be handled with the utmost care and attention.
