ROAD CLOSURES - CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL

The following roads and car park will be closed to traffic for the conducting of the annual George Town Christmas Carnival on Friday, 8th December 2023. Parking restrictions will also apply as listed below.

Goulburn Street: Macquarie St to Cimitiere St intersection
4.00 pm – 7:00 pm

Macquarie Street: Goulburn St intersection to Elizabeth St intersection
4.00 pm – 7:00 pm

Sorell Street: Macquarie St to York Cove
4.00 pm – 7:00 pm

Anne Street: Cimitiere to Macquarie St
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Macquarie St to York Cove
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Bathurst Street: Macquarie St to York Cove
4.00 pm – 7:00 pm

Elizabeth Street: Cimitiere to Macquarie St
4.00 pm – 7:00 pm
Macquarie St to York Cove
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Regent Square Car Park
2:00 pm – 8:30 pm

 

No parking will be permitted on Macquarie Street from 3:00 pm.
No parking will be permitted in the Elizabeth Street Car park from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
No parking will be permitted in the Regent Square Car Park from 2:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
