Bitumen Bandits

Police are aware of recent reports of dishonest tradespeople, particularly in the North.

 

The scammers operate nationally, and have previously offered both businesses and residents driveway repairs, or roof painting services.

 

In some cases, they have completed the work despite the business or resident declining the offer, using intimidation tactics and providing what appears to be a legitimate business card or invoice.
