Notice of Temporary Road Closure and Construction Work

Macquarie Street between Main Road (roundabout) and Anne Street
Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th of April 2024 | 6:00pm to Midnight 

This notice is to advise residents of the Council's upcoming capital works project to plant trees on the Median strip of Macquarie Street between Main Road and Anne Street.

To facilitate this project, we will need to temporarily close east bound lane on Macquarie Street between Main Road and Goulburn Street Roundabout during above specified time. Traffic will be requested to detour during this time.

To ensure smooth traffic flow and minimal disruption, adequate traffic management will be implemented.

We kindly request all residents to avoid parking vehicles on Macquarie Street between Main Road and Anne Street after 5:00 PM on 29^th and 30^th April to facilitate the construction works.
