Road Resealing Program

Council has engaged the road sealing contractor, Hardings Group Pty Ltd, for the annual resealing program 2023/24. Before resealing, the contractor will perform preparation works, including weed spray, milling and filling soft spots etc.
The preparation work is set to commence on 22/01/2024 and is expected to span four days, with completion anticipated on 25/01/24, subject to weather conditions. The roads (or section of road) scheduled for preparation works are:
- Davies Street, George Town
- Friend Street, George Town
- Widdowson Street, George Town
- Parish Crescent, George Town
- East Beach Rd, Low Head
All directly affected properties will be notified via letter drop in advance.
