Upcoming Changes to George Town Bus Services

The Tasmanian Government is funding new bus stops in George Town, which will be completed in early 2024.

 

The new stops will be more accessible and comfortable: opposite 22 Anne Street will have a shelter and be closer to toilets, while 48 Goulburn Street will be a safer distance from the Fire Station. They are slightly changing bus routes to access the new stops and closing stops at 21 Elizabeth Street and 52 Goulburn Street.

This change will affect Kinetic public and school bus services, but no Buses R Us school bus services.
