TasWater will be undertaking a large sewer cleaning project in George Town and Low Head from the end of the month. Work will commence on Monday, 30 April and will take approximately four to six weeks. All enquiries about this work can be referred to the TasWater Call Centre on 13 69 92.

On the 9th of April contractors will commencing tree trimming and removal of some dead trees on the following roads, Leam Road, Jetty Road. Johnston Road, Hillwood Road and Ridge Street.

Targa Tasmania will take to the Streets of George Town on Monday 16th April. From 11.30, the cars will commence their departure from York Cove, making their way to Regent Square where spectators will have the opportunity to view all the vehicles, and chat to the competitors.
