Sinapius - Cellar Door

Sinapius (sin-ay-pi-us) Vineyard is located in the heart of the Pipers Brook wine region in Northern Tasmania, above the banks of the Pipers Brook. 

The small 2-hectare vineyard was purchased by us, Vaughn Dell & Linda Morice, in 2005 at the rather young age of 24, and at which time it was known as Golders Vineyard. Both of us were born and raised in Tasmania and have a deep-seated love of this beautiful island paradise. Having spent time living, studying and working in the Hunter Valley, Yarra Valley, and Margaret River, we always knew that one day we would return home to what we believe is the premiere location in Australasia for growing pinot noir and chardonnay, with the grand plan of starting our own piece of vinous glory.

We are involved in every step of the business, from tending the vines through to crafting the wines, and ultimately distributing the finished product, through select outlets and restaurants, around the country. In order to maintain the highest quality and ensure we can control every aspect, we aim to cap production at a maximum of 1000 cases, from 3 hectares of close planted vineyard.
