ANZAC day details:
Two community services will be held as usual in Georgetown.
Dawn Service at the Old Cenotaph (near War Memorial Hall) followed by Gunfire Breakfast in the Hall.
Tickets: Breakfast $12 and Toddy ($3ea) can be purchased, from now, at the Sub Branch.
The Mid morning Service will start with the March from the Cenotaph to the Max Harris Memorial Reserve.
Gathering for the March should be 10:15AM at the Cenotaph end of the Carpark in Macquarie Street.
Parade will march off at 10:30 for Max Harris Reserve.
Families Children, students are encouraged to wear family medals and carry photos.
We also encourage schools and Community groups to join the March.
If organisations are ordering a wreath through the RSL, Please ensure your order and payment is placed by close of business (2PM) Thursday 17/4/26.
We look forward to a terrific turnout in support and memory of those who have served or continue to serve in the services.
