Vendor Criteria
To ensure a diverse and high-quality selection of food and drinks, we encourage vendors who can offer:
- Winter-inspired cuisine (e.g., open flame cooking, soups, stews, roasted meats, hot desserts, etc.)
- Locally sourced ingredients and Tasmanian specialties
- Warm and comforting beverages (e.g., mulled wine, hot cocktails, chai, specialty coffees)
- Dietary-inclusive options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices
- Creative presentation that enhances the aesthetic of the event
- Family-friendly choices for $10
Key Event Details
- Operating Hours: 5:00 PM –10:00 PM
- Bump-in Time: From 1:00 PM
- Bump-out Time: From 10:30 PM
- Stall Fees: To be confirmed upon selection
- Power & Water: Limited access; vendors must be largely self-sufficient
- Waste Management: Vendors are required to minimise waste and use compostable/biodegradable packaging where possible
- Liquor Licensing: Vendors serving alcohol must provide Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificates
Selection Process
Expressions of interest will be assessed based on:
- Suitability of offering – alignment with the event’s theme and target audience
- Quality and presentation of food and beverage offerings
- Sustainability considerations – use of local ingredients and eco-friendly packaging
- Experience and capability – ability to manage high volumes and provide excellent customer service
