Christmas Carnival 2024

On Friday, December 6th, we held our annual Christmas Carnival and Parade. It was a wonderful Aussie celebration with family activities/amusements, music, food vans, market stalls and a classic Christmas movie. Although there was a little rain, it didn’t hold us back or dampen our Christmas Spirit!

This year's Christmas Parade winners were:

  • Best Themed Float – Beechford Residents & Property Owners Association
  • Best Walking Entry – Bee Bop Dance Studio
  • Most Entertaining – St Andrews Caledonian Band
  • Encouragement Award – Bass & Flinders Maritime Museum
  • Green Award – Barwick Pumping Services

Thank you to Cr Mason, Cheryl Hyde and Mayor Greg Kieser for judging this year’s parade and Mike O’Loughlin for MCing the Christmas Carnival. A big thank you to everyone who attended; we hope you had lots of fun! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the SES for their excellent management of the parade on the day.
