What is the Launchpad Drop in?

It is a chance for youth services in the North to have a regular space to connect with George Town youth aged 12-17 in a casual setting from 3.00pm-4.30pm.

Youth Services, along with activity providers are invited to come with an activity, or discussion point for the young people who visit, with the purpose of exploring new programs and connections with the young people.

Why is the Launchpad Drop in commencing?

The George Town Youth Impact Council has identified that raising awareness about youth mental health and having increased support is important for the George Town youth.  By providing a regular time for youth services to connect with local youth, it can lead into new opportunities for further support and care.
