Art Exhibitions

The George Town Council invites artists and arts groups to register for exhibitions at the Watch House Gallery and the Jim Mooney Gallery. We aim to showcase visual arts from artists at all career stages, providing a platform to share their work with the community and tourists. We are establishing a 24-month calendar of exhibits aligned with art and cultural projects or community events.

Art Facilitators

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from art teachers and facilitators for upcoming art and culture projects and community events in George Town Municipality. We welcome proposals for workshops across various art disciplines, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, writing, film, photography, music, dance, and theatre.

Requirements: Proven experience, Valid Working with Vulnerable People card and Public Liability Insurance.

Public Art

The George Town Council is always exploring public art projects and invites artists and design teams with local knowledge and community ties to submit their ideas. Potential projects include art trails, street art, murals, sculptures and bespoke commissions such as furniture, mosaics, and carvings. We seek artists or collectives with creative ideas and the skills to bring them to life.
