NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES ANZAC DAY 2026
Residents and motorists are advised that the following street closures will apply on Saturday, the 25th of April 2026, to allow for ANZAC Day Services by the RSL George Town Sub Branch.
- Macquarie Street: Anne Street to Bathurst Street | 4.00am – 6.30am. Dawn Service
- ANZAC Drive: Main Road to Friend Street | 10.00am – 12.15pm. 11am Service
- Macquarie Street: Bathurst Street to Goulburn Street | 10.00am – 11.00am. March
- Main Road: Macquarie Street Roundabout to Anzac Drive | 10.45am – 12.15am. March
- Friend Street: ANZAC Drive to Main Road | 10.45am – 12.30pm. 11am Service
