Aquatic Health and Wellbeing Centre Update
This Monday marks a significant milestone for the new indoor Aquatic, Health and Wellbeing Centre, with contractors beginning the removal of the old swimming pool complex.
We know the outdoor pool holds many special memories for our community. Generations of families, swimmers, and friends have shared time together here, and we acknowledge the important place it has held in George Town’s history.
Now, we look to the future. This once-in-a-generation project will give our community a state-of-the-art facility, helping us live active, healthy lives for decades to come – all ages, all abilities, all year round.
We thank you for your patience and support on this exciting project. We will continue to keep you updated as work progresses.
