Aquatic Health and Wellbeing Update

Posted

16th of February 2026 - Update

We are pleased to share a significant milestone in the delivery of our new Aquatic, Health and Wellbeing Centre, with construction officially transitioning "out of the ground" as the building structure begins to take shape.

Since our last update, contractors have completed:
-    Extensive ground improvements and stabilisation work
-    Installation of critical inground infrastructure
-    Offsite manufacturing of the steelwork, pre-cast concrete panels, roofing, and the stainless-steel pool shell.

However, today we have reached an exciting turning point with the installation of the first pre-cast concrete panels. The panels shown in the picture below will form part of the wall between the main pool hall and the plant room, with more being installed over the coming days.

Over the next four weeks, onsite activity will increase as the steel portal frame is erected and roofing panels are installed. Getting the roof over the pool hall is a major win, as it effectively weather-proofs the site and allows construction of the pools themselves to progress unhindered by the weather.

We look forward to seeing the structure rise rapidly over the coming month.
