FREE General Admission at the George Town Swimming Pool until Sunday, March 30 2025.
Ahead of the construction of a new aquatic and wellbeing centre, the George Town Council would like to give everybody the opportunity to celebrate our existing pool by offering free general admission from this weekend until it closes on Sunday, 30 March.
The pool has served the community exceptionally well for the past 40 years and is a much-loved recreation facility that has served not only George Town but many other areas as well. Whether it has been helping kids learn how to swim, the excitement of school swimming carnivals, or just doing laps for exercise, the pool has supported the community to live a more active, healthy and connected lifestyle.
We’re inviting everyone to come along and enjoy the pool for free until the end of the month and to have one last swim before work commences on the new indoor facility which will provide swimming and pool play opportunities all year round.
Free general admission to the pool starts this weekend, and will continue until the pool’s scheduled seasonal closure on 30 March 2025.
