The following facilities are available for residents affected by the current power outages. We encourage anyone in need to take advantage of these resources during this time.

- Hot Showers
- Please bring your own charger, towel, and toiletries.
- Hillwood War Memorial Hall
- Friday 6th of September - 10am to 7pm
- Charge devices (please bring your own charger)
- Hot drinks and use of microwave
- Showers will be available at the footy club from 5.30pm.
George Town Neighbourhood House - The Hood is open as usual from 8.30am-4pm, so if you want somewhere to hang out that is warm and friendly. Charge your devices, and whilst you wait, you can utilise the resources and do the community puzzle and community Diamond Art, have a massage in the massage chair, watch the daytime soap, listen to some tunes, play the WII and use the computers and internet. They have daily heat-and-eat meals, continental Breakfast, and tea and coffee available, so pop in and enjoy the creature comforts of home.
