George Town & Hillwood
Preparation work will be undertaken on several local roads in the coming days in preparation for resealing in March 2026.
Asphalt crews and machinery will be out operating on sections of the following streets in George Town and Hillwood.
George Town: Monday, 2nd February to Wednesday 4th February
• Anzac Drive
• Hammond Avenue
• Quinn Avenue
• Conrad Avenue
• Simpsons Avenue
• Thompsons Avenue
• White Street
• Tamar Avenue
Hillwood: Wednesday, 4th February to Friday, 6th February
• Post Office Road
• Hillwood Jetty Road & Burton Street Junction
Some minor delays may occur during these works; traffic management will be in place to minimise disruptions and ensure the safety of road users and workers.
