Direct Debit
A convenient and budget friendly way to pay your rates is available using a direct debit. Council will  electronically transfer funds from your bank account fortnightly, monthly or on the due instalment date.
Please read the Council's Service Agreement regarding the Terms and Conditions.
If you wish to proceed with the Direct Debit please download this application form Direct Debit Form and forward to the rates office. Please phone the office on 6382 8803 for details regarding payment amount.
If you wish to change your direct debit details please download the following form and send to the Council. Change to details form.

Payment can be made by phoning 13 18 16 using your credit card (Visa or Mastercard),24 hour serviced

 

In Person
At the Council Office between 9:00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, (except on public holidays)

 

Mail
Post a cheque or money order made out to the George Town Council to PO Box 161, George Town 7253.

 

Centrepay
If you receive a Centrelink payment you may be able to pay your rates directly out of your Centrelink payment. Forms are available from the Council office or visit this page.
